Yad L'Achim Exposed - Parts II & III

Last Thursday I posted a link to the first part of a special investigative report aired on Israel's Channel 1 News about the anti-missionary organization, Yad L'Achim. The group is responsible for regular acts of harassment and violence against religious minorities in Israel, especially Messianic Jews.

This three part special report is an important step for religious rights in Israel, particularly with raising awareness toward Messianic Jews. Here are the second and third parts which have now aired:

    This is so important as a step towards understanding messianic Jews. I think most Jews look at us with the kind of stereotypes that Yad L'achim and Jews for Judaism promote. That we are deceptive, all missionaries, and very christian. They portray us as the wolves and innocent Jews who don't know better as our sheep. It is so wrong. We are persecuted plenty by the Jewish community, and this is so apparent in Israel where normal Israeli citizens who happen to believe in Yeshua are harassed and persecuted by these organizations and even the government.

    We are just regular Jews who want to stand together with Am Yirael.

    These are difficult times for the Middle East and I fear for Israel. Many Americans are becoming aware of the persecution of Messianic Jews and Christians in Israel (from the Internet) and beginning to wonder why we support such a country. The U.S. State Department is becoming more verbal over this issue. The Israeli government needs to get it's act together before they lose a valuable friend.

    It is amazing that Yad L'Achim gets away with the things they have been doing.
